FDIC to Convene Meeting of its Advisory Committee on Community Banking
On Thursday, October 5, at 9 a.m. ET, Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) Chairman Martin J. Gruenberg will host a meeting of the FDICs Advisory Committee on Community Banking. Committee members will discuss and receive updates on a range of issues that affect the nations community banks, including examination policies and procedures, credit and lending practices, deposit insurance assessments, insurance coverage, and regulatory compliance.
The meetings agenda includes a discussion of banking conditions, a briefing on the 2022 financial institution diversity self-assessments, an update from the Minority Depository Institutions Subcommittee, and a discussion regarding supervision and policy matters. Read the full agenda.
